Nigerian singer-songwriter FOLA (also styled as Fola or FOLAPONDIS) has officially dropped his long-teased debut studio album, Catharsis.

The album is titled Catharsis, stylized in lowercase.  The title suggests emotional release and healing — the album is framed as a deeply personal journey, with FOLA describing it as a “soul hospital” — a space to cleanse, repair, and transform. 

📅 Release Date

Although originally announced for September 5, 2025, the album’s official release date is given as 4 September 2025.  Some media sources mention the 5th as the drop date, likely aligning with midnight digital release.
